Pauline customizes Converse Boots and, still working from home in Renfrewshire, she has supplied shoes a range of celebrities, including Paris Hilton, Justin Timberlake and the singer Fergie.

Students read about Pauline's success before planning a business idea of their own. Working as a group they brainstorm and design, which they must then pitch to a panel of 'would-be investors' (maybe bring your cheque book just in case!) while also producing an accompanying press release.

Materials are specifically designed to allow the delivery of Core Skills Communication units at Access 3 and Intermediate 1 (SQA) - all planning comes supplied.
